-  Just finished two conferences, CUE conference (Palm Springs, May 3) and TechEd 2007 (Ontario, May 25) where I conducted seminars on assessment with rubrics showcasing my newest rubric builder and assessment tool, RubricStudio.

- RubricStudio was officially released late February.  I didn't expect the positive responses that I've been getting on its intuitiveness and flexibility.  Four attendees at TechEd told me it was the best presentation they attended there.  Yes, I do have bragging rights and I'm taking full advantage of it   Creating RubricStudio has been a lot of work.  Hope you enjoy using it as much as I do.

$1 a Point:

A student attaches a $100 bill to his exam with a note to the professor "This is for your trouble, $1 for each point."  A few days later he gets his test result back with a grade of 40, three $20 dollar bills stapled to the test, and a note from the professor "Here's your grade, and your change.  Hope you do better next time, you're flunking."
